The Hotel Birks arrives
Stroll through the ornate front doors, past the world-famous Birks jewelry store and the bustling Henri Brasserie Française, and enter a space where every single historical architectural detail, from the intricate original ceiling moldings to the 19th century soaring columns, has been gloriously restored to enchant you with contemporary accents of marble, wood, golden metals and noble materials.
Formerly occupied by the Birks’ store offices, the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors were painstakingly stripped to reveal their original surfaces and large windows, then, restored to accommodate charismatic rooms in soothing tones of greige, each with a unique layout and privileged views. The damaged 5th floor, which once housed Birks’ watch-making department, was entirely replaced with two crowning glass-enclosed floors, luminous rooms, and intimate balconies overlooking the city.
